Sunday, June 26th, 4:00 pm:  Vox Antiqua in concert We welcome this small choral a cappella ensemble which is committed to bringing peace and beauty to the Bellingham area through the performance of early sacred music. 


Saturday, July 2nd, 2:00 - 8:00 pm:  Annual All-Island Rummage Sale The rope drops at 2 pm for this   Join us for bargains galore, brats, hot dogs, and ice cold beer.  Russ will be spinning the discs again this year to keep things hopping!  Again, open on Sunday, July 3rd from Noon - 5:00 pm. 

Drop off items at the church Thursday, June 30 11-8; Friday, July 1 8-8; Saturday, July 2 8-11.  And thanks for your generosity!


Monday-Thursday, July 18-21, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm:  Children's Vacation Bible School  Children ages 6-11 are invited to join us for fun, games, and stories (and lunch, too!).  Register at the church, or at


Saturday, August 27th, 6:00 pm:  Annual Crabfest at the Philpot's A perfect setting on their back deck and in their gardens to enjoy a great sunset and good neighbors.  We supply the crab, corn on the cob, and soft drinks.  Please bring a side dish or dessert and BYOB.  Suggested donation $12.  Please contact the office to let us know you are coming (so there is plenty of crab!) 



Every Monday:

Elderberries Social:  10:30 am - 12:30 pm. 

AA Meeting:   7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. 


Every Wednesday:

Elderberries (for those fifty years old and over): 11 am to 2 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Card games, conversation, light refreshments, healthy lunch, occasional day trips are included in this fun program.  $1 suggested donation.  $2 on pizza days the first Wednesday of the month. 


Every Sunday:

Quiet Meditation in the sanctuary:  Noon until sunset.



You are welcome to walk our labyrinth in the church woods.  The public is also welcome to access the church beach from our parking lot.  Please pack out what you pack in.


"Finding Beach and Carlisle"

The Parish Activities Board has published a unique compilation of the stories of how Lummi Island's settlers came to the island.  The book is called "Finding Beach and Carlisle" since it traces the history of our early post Beach and, for a short time, at Carlisle, the first salmon cannery on the island. 


The book includes includes the stories of the Bowdens, Frank Wright, Bill King, Kathy Scott, the McDonalds, the Nordensson, Wad Dunn, the Currys, Fray and Estrid Baker, and Carl and Ilse Otto.  .  It is available for an $18 donation to Lummi Island Congregational Church.   Copies can be ordered by sending a check for $18 per book plus $5.95 to cover shipping and handling for up to 5 copies to:

"Finding Lummi Island"

The Parish Activities Board published its first compilation of stories of the Lummi Island's original settlers first found the island back around the year 1900 or before.  The book is called "Finding Lummi Island" and includes the stories of Christian Tuttle, Wade Hampton Beach, Frederick Lane, William Legoe, Melzar and Lucy Granger, Ripley Jonathan Richards, Arthur Payne, Captain James Tarte, Fannie Winslow Austin Granger, Thomas Hubert De Haven, and Frank Mortimer Taft.  It is available for a $15 donation to Lummi Island Congregational Church.   Copies can be ordered by sending a check for $15 per book plus $5.95 to cover shipping and handling for up to 5 copies to:
