That they may all be one (John
17:21)
Our congregation welcomes all faiths.
This spirit of unity helps strengthen and heal the human spirit.
In essentials unity, in
non-essentials diversity, in all things charity
The
UCC Statement of Faith
represents our shared understanding of the essential beliefs of Christian
faith and life. The unity that we seek requires neither an
uncritical acceptance of any point of view nor a rigid formulation of
doctrine.

We are continually challenged
to be open to God's call for change
and social justice.
The unity of the church
is not of its own making
The unity of the church is a gift of God.
Expressions of unity are as diverse as there are individuals. In
order to love one another, we embrace that diversity.
Testimony of faith
rather than tests of faith
Because faith can be expressed in many
different ways, there is no single formula to test faith

"Never place a period where
God has placed a comma."
Gracie Allen
There is yet more light and
truth to break forth from God's holy word
The Bible is the source for understanding and the foundation for our
faith. The study of the scriptures is not limited by past
interpretations, instead it offers us expectations of new insights and
God's help for living today.
Equals in worship of God
We are called to minister to others and
to participate as equals in the common worship of God.

Responsible freedom
As individuals, we are free to act upon our perceptions of God's will
for our lives. Our congregation is free to act in accordance with
the collective decisions of its members. We are also called upon to
live in a covenantal relationship with one another and with other
congregations to share, take cooperative action, and preserve the unity of
our common faith. We recognize our calling to live in the world and
to proclaim in word and action the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
